Summary of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Aged Care Manager to lead a well-established aged care home in Benalla. This role requires a proactive and compassionate leader to oversee all aspects of resident care, operational efficiency, compliance, and staff management. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, maintaining accreditation, driving operational excellence, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, standards, and internal policies.
• Promote a resident-centered culture focused on dignity, compassion, and quality of care.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accreditation standards.
• Oversee clinical care processes, medication management, and infection control.
• Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and operational efficiency.
• Lead crisis management including COVID-19 response planning.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and performance management of staff.
• Enhance relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents, complaints, and care documentation.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing or Business (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role within aged care or related healthcare settings.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with accreditation processes and compliance management.
• High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality care and continuous improvement.
