Perth Marine Centre is looking for a Marine Mechanic / Technician to join our team due to the continued growth.

About us

Perth Marine Centre is your newest Mercury Marine Dealership NOR specializing in outboard service, repairs and re-powers. We also have a dedicated Chandlery, Marine Electronics and Accessory department.

The Role

This is an opportunity to work with a great team that prides itself on not only selling quality products but backing these products with professional advice and factory-trained after-sales service.

You will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of outboard motors, installation of new Mercury Outboards, 12V wiring and accessory installations, while reporting to the Workshop Manager.

Some of your day-to-day duties include:

• Complete repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose engine & electrical issues
• Complete engine repowers, fit-ups and testing
• Completing job cards and any associated paperwork

About You

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Marine Mechanical)
• Appropriate Experience with Outboards
• Sound knowledge of 12V electrical systems
• Australian Driver's License
• Ability to Work Autonomously.
• Understanding of Safe Work Practices.
• Must be able to pass medical and drug test
• Permanent Australian resident

Experience with Mercury Outboards and a Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
