Position: Service Technician

Due to company expansion, a Service Technician position is now available, specializing in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of advanced machinery, including laser cutting machines, CNC machines, and various other types of equipment within the sheet metal industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Installation of Equipment: Perform on-site installation and commissioning of laser cutting machines, CNC machines, and other sheet metal machinery, ensuring seamless integration into customer operations.

System Setup and Configuration: Configure and optimize machine settings for peak performance, including CNC programming, calibration, and machine testing.

Service and Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines, diagnosing issues, and providing solutions to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency.

Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by working directly with clients to address their needs, answering technical inquiries, and delivering hands-on support during installations and servicing.

System Testing and Calibration: Perform comprehensive testing and calibration of all machines to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Training: Assist with the training of customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial machinery in a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for this position, it is vital that you have the following:

Installation & Troubleshooting Skills: Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CNC machines, laser cutting machines, press brakes, or similar machinery within the sheet metal industry.

Hands-on Experience: Comfort with performing on-site service tasks, including diagnostics, repairs, and optimization of machine operations.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues on machines such as CNC routers, plasma cutters, and punching machines.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various customer sites as part of on-site installation, support, and service tasks.
