AWT require the services of an experienced water treatment technician to join our increasing customer base to safely perform commissioning, service and maintenance to new and existing water treatment dosing systems (Waterdos, Convergent and Aquarius brands) in conjunction with AWT’s locally manufactured, custom side stream filtration equipment incorporating indexing valves and pop-up and eductor nozzle cleaning systems across numerous sites in the Perth metro area including the Perth CBD.

You will be required to perform regular cooling tower cleans and ensure all equipment is correctly isolated and effectively re-instated to operation mode.

Review cooling tower operation and ensure basin water levels are correct and report if water leaks are evident to minimise water and chemical loss.

Sample, test and report on closed water circuit water quality.

Ability to remove and install PVC pipework between cooling towers and dosing equipment when required.

The role will also require work on construction sites to install flushing rigs to perform flushing works to small, medium large, closed chilled and heating water circuits across numerous types of sites and installations.

You must have the ability to work safely with colleagues to install, commission and monitor operation of our mobile filtration equipment and assist with drafting and reviewing flushing methodologies, read schematic drawings, identify dead legs within circuits, identify water flow issues and remove air from systems when required.
