Job Opportunity: Finance Director – ANZ Region

They are looking for a dynamic and hands-on finance leader to drive operational engagement, systems improvements, and process optimisation.

Position Overview:

As Finance Director, you will report directly to the Group CFO and play a pivotal role in overseeing the full finance function for the ANZ region. Your primary focus will be on operational engagement, driving impactful systems and process improvements, and ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives. You will work closely with site operations, making sure that the finance function supports and contributes to the ongoing success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of finance, including planning, reporting, analysis, and financial control for the ANZ region.
  • Actively engage with operational teams and leadership to provide financial insight and support for key business decisions.
  • Spearhead systems and process improvements to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the Group CFO and GM of Australia to contribute to the strategic direction and financial health of the business.

Key Qualifications:

  • CPA/CA qualified with proven experience leading all areas of finance.
  • A strong background in the civil construction industry is highly advantageous and desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational change and improve financial systems.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for partnering with operations to achieve business goals.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working with senior leadership and diverse teams.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt and flex their communication style to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You should thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be comfortable with ambiguity, using your initiative and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement.
