FutureYou has partnered with a global manufacuring company to search for their next Payroll Officer.

This role is part time 2 days a week.

SALARY - $80,000+ APPROX DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Review and correct payroll reports, adjusting discrepancies as needed.
• Communicate with employees regarding timesheet issues and payroll inquiries.
• Coordinate with managers to confirm overtime and production hours.
• Upload payroll data to the system, ensuring payments are made correctly.
• Prepare payroll reconciliation and handle back payments.
• Submit payroll tax and superannuation lodgements to the relevant authorities.
• Assist with the preparation of year-end payroll reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with HR administrative tasks, including recruitment (screening, reference checks, onboarding) during non-payroll weeks

CRITERIA:

• Proficiency with Australian payroll systems and regulations
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills (ability to work with pre-designed spreadsheets and formulas).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and able to follow up effectively
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
