Job Overview

This is more than just a Senior Accountant role. You’ll be groomed for the next level—a Senior Leadership position, where you’ll essentially “run the show.” From managing a team to owning client relationships and driving firm growth, this role offers the chance to make the role your own and shape your future in the business.

What You’ll Do

Develop and manage trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value.

Review financial statements and complex tax returns (individual, corporate, trust, partnership).

Advise clients on business structures, tax planning, and financial strategies.

Support and shadow the Director in key client presentations and meetings.

Ensure compliance with AASB, GST, BAS, PAYG, and corporate tax obligations.

Contribute to internal policies and business development efforts.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and service excellence.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 6 years’ public practice experience in tax and financial reporting.

Strong understanding of Australian business structures and compliance.

Proficient in Xero and other cloud-based technologies.

Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.

A high level of integrity, client focus, and strategic thinking.

Proven ability to manage teams, mentor others, and drive outcomes.
