Bridgestone Mayfield is seeking an experienced Tyre and Auto Sales Assistant / Service Advisor.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide sales and service support to customers as well as administrative support to the store.

Ideally be a trade qualified motor mechanic able to assist managing mechanical and tyre related sales.

We have a large retail and fleet customer base with wide ranging tyre and auto service needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide a high standard of customer service in the branch by being approachable and knowledgeable about tyre products and related services.

Undertake POS transactions.

Maintenance of shop, store and yard areas with regard to presentation and tidiness.

Ensuring service level agreements are achieved.

Manage and direct workshop staff, as well as assist at times.

Adhere to follow and enforce safety procedures.

About you

Ideal applicants will possess the following:

Demonstrated experience in customer service and sales role in the tyre and or automotive industry.

Ideally a trade qualified motor mechanic.

Effective time management skills and the ability to forward plan.

Good computer skills.

Excellent attention to detail & communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Valid drivers licence (Class C)

Valid AIS examiner qualification would be an advantage.
