Self Storage is a growth industry in Australia and we are a growing family owned Self Storage business with currently 3 facilities in the Hills District of Sydney. (Rouse Hill, Castle Hill, Galston).

Role
We are are looking for a Casual Self Storage Sales, Customer Service and Maintenance Assistant to the Manager to work at our facilities. The ideal candidate would be available 1-2 days per week which would include at least a Saturday and possibly 1 other day per week. Additional days would be available from time to time including Weekdays and Sundays. This role is varied, covering all aspects of the day to day operations of a Self Storage Facility.

Responsibilities
With full training provided the main responsibilities include selling rental of Self Storage space, selling packaging supplies, processing Truck and Trailer hires, stock control, processing payments, debt recovery, cleaning, minor property maintenance and assistance with other tasks as requested. Operation of a forklift is also a requirement and the successful applicant will receive training and licensing. We are looking for a well groomed self motivated individual who will have the ability to communicate confidently and sell in line with our sales process. As this role also involves weekend work responsibility is taken for opening and closing the store and working independently after the required training has been provided. Up to 3 days a week will be available during the training period.

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate must be flexible and reliable. Sales and Customer Service experience with good computer skills preferred but not essential if we believe the candidate would perform well with training. Holding a licence for a forklift an advantage but also not essential as we will provide training and licensing. Experience in self storage ideal however furniture removals, rentals or hotel industry a plus.

Hours of Work
Current operating hours are as follows.

8:00am - 5:00pm Weekdays
8:00am - 4:00pm Saturdays
10:00am - 4:00pm Sundays

This role involves working at any of our 3 sites in the Hills area as per the roster so a car licence is a must. However currently this role would be begin at our Castle Hill store.
