Located in Chipping Norton, our client is a global leader in manufacturing high-quality, energy-efficient air conditioning systems designed for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
We're seeking a Production Support Engineer to join their dynamic team and help them with these duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing support for production including programming machinery, fault finding, and helping engineers on site.
• Project Management duties including leading the initiation of production of new models and the continuous improvement of them: prioritizing safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental target.
• Creating production project schedules/timelines and collaborating with a variety of departments to ensure units are made on time.
• Manage production-related capital projects, including equipment selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Supporting maintenance departments to ensure reliability of production areas.
• Develop proper book keeping etiquette including dates for documentation, SOPs, project plans, and maintenance schedules.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Trade certificate and/or equivalent engineering diploma/degree
• Experience in project management, reading engineering drawings, and understanding specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical installation, testing processes, and continuous improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, TPS).
• Problem-Solving Skills
• Communication and Teamwork
• Continuous Improvement Mindset in regard to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental standards.
