The Role

We're seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our expanding product development team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our engineering team to design, develop, and test cutting-edge mechanical systems for defence applications. This position offers significant growth potential as we continue to expand our product lines and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for defence applications using industry-standard CAD software
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to validate designs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers
• Support the full product development lifecycle from concept to production
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and refinement
• Contribute to design documentation and technical reports
• Assist with production support and troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Experience with sheet metal design, machining, and assembly techniques
• Problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
