Due to our ongoing growth across Australia, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to be a fundamental part of our expansion.
The Service Manager (SM) will be committed to improving the lives of people with disability and will work directly with participants to facilitate choice and control over the services they receive.
The SM will support staff and ensure the goals of the service are met by utilizing their expertise, leadership, influence, and/or creativeness to formulate an effective team.
Desired skills, experience, and qualifications ( you do not need to meet all the criteria to apply):
Current National Police Check
Current Working with Children Check
Current Australian Driver’s License with registered vehicle and minimum third-party car insurance (this is a must as well).
Demonstrated understanding of mental health, autism, and disability service standards.
A good understanding and knowledge of customer relations and NDIS frameworks and can build and manage relationships with customers/participants and their employees.
A broad range of influencing skills, experience with producing high-quality and effective written communication, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of support coordinators, support workers, and administration staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-volume quality coordination support to assist people, advocate, organize, and access support and services.
Communicate and collaborate to engage participants with suitable support and care workers.
Build and develop the capacity of the community to ensure it is inclusive and welcoming.
Respond effectively and flexibly to priorities set out by government authorities and contemporary practices relevant to our client base.
Actively and positively contribute to team and organizational culture.
Actively manage and coordinate Dash Access and Inclusion Services employees.
Manages to meet and greets with clients and their representatives and staff from Dash Access and Inclusion Services.
Overall management of current clients, including periodic service provision to clients, communication, and seeking feedback from clients.
