With massive growth in Victoria and recent structural changes in NSW, VHCC is expanding its team! We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. Exceptional clinical skills, the ability to effectively communicate and, most importantly, empathy are the traits required for this role. The role will include:

Managing a caseload of NDIS participants (paediatric and adult)

Conducting Occupational Therapy assessments, providing ongoing therapy, and preparing quality reports and other necessary documentation

Prescribing and delivering evidence-based interventions

Working collaboratively with clients, family members and support workers

Traveling to participants’ residences and within the community

Communicating with allied health teams and support coordinators

Using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to meet clinical standards

Supporting members within our multi-disciplinary team

Job requirements

At least 1yr of Occupational Therapy experience within the disability sector

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

Valid NSW driver’s licence

Current Working with Children Check

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
