What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About you
Do you have a current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Do you have an understanding of the principles of opioid agonist treatment options available.
The Registered Nurse Opioid Treatment Program coordinates and delivers high quality person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the MoH and MNCLHD.
Nursing care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery for people with Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) issues.

About Mid North Coast Local Health District
Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
MNCLHD is a non commercial government funded health organisation that provides quality health care at public hospitals in Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Kempsey, Macksville, Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
