About the role

Join Roniak Group as a full-time Excavator Operator based in Melbourne, VIC. In this critical role, you will be part of a team, operate machinery to support the company's construction projects, contributing to the successful delivery

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and maintain excavators and other earthmoving equipment to complete a range of construction tasks

Perform pre-start checks, report any issues, and carry out basic maintenance on assigned machinery

Follow site safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project goals and timelines

Provide on-site support and assistance to other operators and labourers as needed

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience operating excavators and other heavy construction equipment

Formal qualifications in plant operation

Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and ability to work within safety guidelines

Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as part of a team
