Clear Cut Contracting is a well-established civil construction and earthmoving company, providing high-quality services across Southern Tasmania. We specialize in bulk material transport, excavation, and site preparation. We are seeking individuals for two roles, a 10 Yard Tipper Driver & Excavator Operator to join our crew and play a key role on site.

Role & Responsibilities:

Operate a 10-yard tipper truck to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and construction waste.

Safely and efficiently operate 1.7 - 8 tonne excavators for trenching, digging, backfilling, site prep, and material loading.

Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on all equipment.

Ensure compliance with all road transport and heavy machinery safety regulations.

Load and unload trucks and machinery as needed on site.

Maintain accurate records of loads, hours, and equipment use.

Uphold strong safety standards and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.

Requirements:

Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence (HC Preffered).

Excavator ticket/licence or demonstrated competency operating excavators.

Proven experience in both tipper truck driving and excavator operation.

Knowledge of safe excavation practices, trenching, and working around services.

Strong understanding of road safety laws, machinery operation standards, and load restraint.

White Card (or willingness to obtain one).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A solid work ethic and commitment to safety and professionalism.
