About the role

Bridgewater bakehouse is seeking a full-time and casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Bendigo and kangaroo flat stores . As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our thriving bakery. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and contribute to the success of a growing local business.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all our patrons

Assisting with the display and sale of our freshly baked goods and other products

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the retail space

Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Restocking and replenishing inventory as needed

Supporting the wider bakery team with various operational tasks

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual and committed to providing outstanding customer service

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask
