We are seeking a registered nurse to lead our nursing team.

We are a GP-owned, fully accredited medical centre, located in the fabulous Beaumaris Concourse. This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the ongoing growth and success of our practice and of primary health care in our community.

We are a team of skilled and friendly GPs, allied health practitioners, practice nurses and administrative staff working together to provide friendly, up-to-date primary healthcare that is local and convenient for our wonderful community. It is our passion to ensure long-term viability of community-based holistic healthcare that challenges corporate healthcare models.

Hours:

We are looking for you to work 3-4 days per week. Expected ordinary hours range from Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (weekends and after hours work is not required).

Who do we need?

Leading a team of 3 other nurses, we are looking for a candidate with GP Practice nursing experience who can coordinate:

Immunisations (accredited nurse immuniser preferred)

Wound care, and minor procedures

Care plans and health assessments

General support for the nursing team, Doctors, and triaging walk-ins

The successful candidate will exhibit:

a positive, can-do attitude

be a caring and fun team-player

be a good communicator, both to patients and work colleagues

experience using Best Practice and HotDoc (a bonus)
