About the role

This is a part-time position for a Registered Nurse at the Inglis Medical Centre in Sale, VIC. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the medical team of 18 GP's and providing high-quality patient care. With a focus on general medical and surgical nursing, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dedicated healthcare team.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Providing nursing care to patients, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and monitoring patient progress
• Conducting health assessments, screenings, and immunisations
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Promoting health education and preventative care to patients
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse qualification with a current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role would be desirable however onsite training will be provided
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and patient management systems
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
