Sale Medical Centre is a busy General Practice in Sale, Gippsland, Victoria. We are looking for a dedicated nurse to join our growing team and play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. If you are passionate about improving patient outcomes, proactive in preventative medicine, and seeking a change of pace from RACF/hospital shift work, this opportunity is for you.

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) for approximately 30 hours per week across our three locations (Sale, Maffra, Loch Sport). You will be joining a strong nursing team as our fifth practice nurse, contributing to holistic patient care, chronic disease management, and preventative health initiatives.

We require someone who can start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and minor surgeries
• Wound care, dressings, and suture removal
• Performing immunisations, vaccinations, and injections
• Developing and managing care plans for chronic disease patients
• Conducting health assessments to support preventative care strategies
• Preparing consulting and procedure rooms
• Ensuring infection control and instrument sterilisation
• Supporting patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly

Selection Criteria

• AHPRA-registered Nurse (Division 1 RN or EN)
• Experience in chronic disease management and preventative health care
• Proficiency in wound care and assisting with surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload, and work independently when required
• A patient-centered approach with a commitment to comprehensive, holistic care
