Waxit Car Care is looking for an Digital Content Creator & Coordinator to join our in-house team.

Waxit International is a rapidly growing business that distributes car care products from various brands around the world, through our online e-commerce store, www.waxit.com.au. Along with selling products to thousands of Australians, Waxit also helps create media/marketing content for a range of different car care brands.

Waxit International is also responsible for the design and development of our own, in-house car care & cleaning brands that are sold both domestically and internationally.

We are looking for an individual that is passionate about the automotive/detailing industry, with Digital Content Creative skills like Videography, Photography, Editing & Social Media to help grow the Waxit Online store, and help develop our brands moving forward.

About the Role:

As our Digital Content Creator & Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

Brainstorming & generating ideas to help support our content creation program that helps drive sales to our ecommerce store, and develop our brands

Utilising your own videography, photography and editing skills to create high quality, meaningful content in a variety of formats for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok & more.

Working with our content, marketing and graphic teams to achieve business goals

Organise content shoots with our in-house team, and/or other businesses that may be involved

Creating & managing (with our assistance) a content creation program that helps fuel the business and propel it forward

Grow to be able to manage & post on our social media platforms, alongside being able to edit & create content

Bear in mind, all cameras and equipment are all owned in-house (no need for your own equipment).

What is expected of the Applicant:

If you are looking at applying for this position, it is expected that you will be/have:

Be passionate about the automotive industry, and have an interest in learning about the world of detailing & car care products

Strong and efficiency skills in video editing - with the ability to shoot and have skills in both videography/photography

Be extremely proficient with video editing software - such as premiere, cap-cut and more.

Great at working in a team environment, but also have the discipline & initiative to handle projects by yourself when needed

An incredible attention to detail and passion for videography, photography and content creation as a whole

Able to communicate exceptionally well with both the in-house team & other businesses that may be involved

Multiple years of experience with content creation in terms of both Videography & Photography

A solid portfolio that showcases your videography & photography, highlighting your own individual skills, flair & passion
