About the company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of premium consumer goods based in Central Melbourne. Their dedication to product excellence and customer satisfaction has earned them a trusted position in their market. Due to internal restructuring, they are currently seeking a Supply Planner to join their team on an initial 3 month contract with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the demand planner to coordinate supply activities.
• Manage product lifecycle including upgrades and discontinuations.
• Manage production planning across both Excel and SAP platforms.
• Interpret bill of materials effectively.
• Identify manufacturing inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Place and track orders for raw materials.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with various departments.
• Present data-driven insights to management.

Skills & Experiences:
The role would suit someone with experience in planning, ideally within a FMCG or manufacturing environment. ERP system knowledge & Advance Excel skills to analyse data and present/influence business decisions experience would be highly regarded.
