About the role

Wiluna IGA is seeking an experienced and passionate Grocery Manager to join our team in Wiluna, Western Australia. As the Grocery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our grocery department, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and driving sales growth. This is a full-time role based in Wiluna.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead the grocery team, including scheduling, training, and performance management

Oversee inventory management, ordering, and product selection to meet customer demands

Implement effective merchandising and display strategies to maximise sales and profitability

Analyse sales data and identify opportunities for improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Foster a positive and customer-focused work environment

Collaborate with the store management team to drive overall business success

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a grocery management or retail leadership role

Strong understanding of grocery operations, inventory management, and merchandising

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
