The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading global mining group, this company is renowned for its extensive operations in the extraction and processing of minerals such as iron ore, aluminium, copper, and diamonds. With a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation, they are at the forefront of developing new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

We are seeking two degree-qualified engineers for a long-term opportunity on a rolling contract, with work estimated to continue until 2029. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in quantity surveying and a strong attitude towards project success.

The Position:

• Develop and implement tracking sheets, processes, and procedures to monitor quantities and contractor performance on a project basis
• Assist the project lead in creating, tracking, and updating the monthly project forecasts.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings with the contractor
• Oversee the monitoring of equipment, labour, and material quantities.
• Can't be afraid to get your hands dirty in this role

The Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Knowledge and ability to understanding requirements across Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Scaffolding.
• Proactive and detail oriented
• Ability to communicate at a high level and work well in a team
