Working for Rio Tinto at Tom Price we currently have two positions available for 2 experienced Quantity Surveyors to work FIFO Perth on an 8:6 roster. These are new roles within the organisation providing the opportunity to create your own workflows, templates and procedures.

About The Role

Reporting to the project lead the key responsibilities of these roles include:

• Create project-based tracking sheets, processes and procedures for monitoring quantities and contractor performance.
• Monitoring equipment, labour, and material quantities for remediation works completed by the contractor.
• Support the project lead with developing, tracking and updating the monthly project cost forecast.
• Support the project team with development of the contractor's execution strategy, scope of work document and bill of quantities.
• Documenting and tracking of any design and/or scope changes, including updating the project cost forecast.
• Attend weekly progress meetings with contractor.

About You

To be considered for these positions you will ideally have:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Knowledge and ability to understanding requirements of all disciplines – Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Civil, Scaffolding.
• MS Excel & Project knowledge.
• Proven stakeholder management experience
