Well-known State Government seeking Senior Surveyor for the provision of a broad range of surveying services

Your new organisation
Join a well-known State Government Transport Authority as a Senior Surveyor. You will be responsible for providing a broad range of surveying services, including feature, cadastral, and monitoring surveys, to the transport portfolio. This role offers an initial 3-6-month contract with the potential for extension.

Your new role
As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Exercising professional independent judgment in the assessment and management of survey activities, both in the field and office.
• Providing high-level advice to key stakeholders, including external and internal clients, and the Lead - Survey Operations, on complex cadastral and engineering issues and improvement initiatives.
• Project management, planning, developing, and conducting surveys using appropriate technology, procedures, and resources.
• Undertaking engineering survey fieldwork and processing, including feature, control, service proving, set-out, and monitoring surveys.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will need to have a degree in Surveying or Geomatics as well as registration as a Practising Licensed Surveyor in Victoria with the Surveyors Registration Board for Victoria with a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
