Paisley Park welcomes childcare Educators to apply for Part-time or full-time Qualified Educator roles or Group Leader roles at our Centre, which caters to 120 children per day. We have plenty of flexibility for Educators with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. In addition to relevant qualifications from RTO or University, we expect candidates to have experience working across many age groups.
Our lovely Centre is beautifully designed with state-of-the-art features throughout. The Centre is fully renovated and resourced with brand-new educational equipment. We are truly a standout educational facility in the local community. We are well established with a great continuity of Educators and a passionate and experienced Director who heads our team.
At Paisley Park, we celebrate diversity and individuality. Our Educators are not just employees. They are our best asset. We highly value their unique perspectives, cultural diversity, and life experiences. That is why we welcome Educators from all walks of life and backgrounds to apply, creating a genuinely inclusive and accepting workplace.
Our Professional Learning Framework is implemented to support Educators at all levels in increasing their skills and knowledge. We offer monthly workshops covering many interesting topics to boost their knowledge and confidence, which are in line with the National Quality Standards. These workshops are embedded in our Professional Development and Learning Framework and come at no cost or ‘outside of hours’ burden. We understand that working with young children is extremely rewarding but can also be challenging. We focus on providing our whole team with the right life/work balance.
Our Centre is easily accessible in a well-established Eastern Suburbs community with ample FREE underground parking. We support our Educators with wonderful spaces for rest and relaxation, including a programming space for ‘off the floor’ focused documentation and planning. If you have your own young children, we offer heavily discounted fees, which means you can come to work with your child.
We are passionate about educational programs that support children's strengths, interests, and emerging development. Joining Paisley Park means that you share this philosophy and are happy to contribute to supporting children's holistic development, regardless of your level of qualification.
Successful candidates will also be enthusiastic, passionate and have a positive work ethic. Qualified Educators may hold a recognised Early Childhood qualification, such as an Early Childhood University Degree or Diploma in Children’s Services, or be ‘working towards’. Must have at least 1 to 2 years of work experience in a similar role. In addition, qualified applicants may have:
1. A Working with Children Check
2. A Senior First Aid/ Anaphylaxis/ Asthma certificate
3. Child Protection Certification
4. An understanding of the Code of Conduct, WHS Principles and Education and Care Regulations
If you don't hold these, that is perfectly fine. We will help you attain them. We are more interested in motivated candidates who want to make a difference and contribute to our philosophies, policies and programs. If you genuinely want to challenge yourself and be part of our team, APPLY now.
