Our client, a very well funded Federal Government entity is seeking APS5/6 Financial Accountant & Systems/Financial Accountant to join their team in April

Responsibilities:

• Assisting FRT (Finance Reporting Team) with the preparation of the annual financial statements including preparing financial statement notes, reconciliations and analysis;
• Assist FRT with the asset functions including processing of information in Tech1;
• Assist FRT with the stocktake and valuation analysis

Criteria:

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience of the annual financial statements process.
• Ensures compliance with all accounting standards, guidance and policy requirements.
• Explores possibilities of streamlining activities
