Description

• Processing weekly payroll for employees.
• Managing superannuation and tax deductions.
• Handling payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Preparing and distributing payslips, tax forms, and other payroll-related documents.
• Performing year-end processing tasks.
• Adhering to privacy standards and confidentiality principles.
• Staying current with changes in payroll legislation

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

• A solid understanding of payroll processes.
• Experience in a similar role within the transport & distribution industry is advantageous.
• A strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent numerical skills and proficiency with payroll software.
• Good communication skills for handling payroll queries.

Job Offer

• A competitive hourly rate of around AUD 45.00 to AUD 55.00, depending on experience.
• Temporary position with an immediate start.
