Due to continued business growth and increasing operational needs, we seek an experienced contract administrator to join our team.
Position Overview
The Contract Administrator will manage and coordinate the entire lifecycle of contracts across various business functions, including customer contracts, procurement contracts, production orders, freight contracts, and employment contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain an effective contract management system, ensuring proper documentation, timely renewals, and clear accountability.
Liaise with stakeholders to clarify contract terms, address variations, and resolve contractual issues.
Monitor key contract milestones and proactively follow up to ensure timely execution and compliance.
Assess contractual risks and provide recommendations to management.
Manage procurement contracts with Australian and international suppliers (notably from China).
Oversee production contracts with offshore manufacturers to ensure alignment with company requirements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies across all contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, procurement, operations, and HR, to support the smooth execution of contracts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract administration or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial sectors is preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in contract negotiation, risk analysis, and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
