Your Role at a Glance
As our part time 0.6 FTE Accounts Officer, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations while providing key insights crucial to our success. You will be responsible for managing essential financial functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting the broader team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Payroll and HR Support: Process payroll and assist with HR documentation to keep operations running seamlessly.
Accounts Management: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate processing.
Financial Administration: Maintain up-to-date records and reconcile accounts using industry-standard software.
Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and lodge essential financial reports, supporting our commitment to regulatory excellence.
Operational Support: Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and manage financial risks in line with our growth strategy.
Selection Criteria
Previous experience or background in Human Resources and or Payroll,
Proven expertise in Xero or equivalent accounting software,
Solid understanding of Australian taxation laws (BAS, GST, PAYG, Superannuation),
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills,
Capability to handle confidential information associated with Human Resources and Payroll data,
Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Financial Services
Experience with Deputy.com or other time recording systems is preferred.
