ABOUT THE ROLE

As Manager of the Transport and Logistics Department, you’ll lead an enthusiastic team of dedicated educators, delivering transformative programs in Heavy Vehicle Licensing, Forklift Licensing, Warehousing & Supply Chain, Civil Construction, Motor Sports, Automotive and more. This fast-paced, ever-evolving role requires exceptional people skills, extensive industry collaboration, and a future-focused mindset. Attention to detail—especially in workplace safety—is essential.

Your inspiring leadership will cultivate a dynamic and engaging atmosphere across multiple sites, where trainers empower students to achieve their personal and professional goals. By fostering collaboration and excellence, you’ll drive the department toward ambitious targets while making a meaningful impact on individuals, industry, and local communities.

Selected Duties:

Steer a diverse array of vocational education and training programs within a vibrant department.

Play a pivotal role in the Institute’s growth, driving success by exceeding departmental targets and fostering collaboration across all levels.

Empower the Executive Team with timely, strategic insights on key issues affecting the department and the entire Institute.

Lead the charge in implementing impactful educational and business initiatives that align with our Strategic and Operational Plans, promoting a culture focused on clients and learners to drive meaningful change.

ABOUT YOU

Skills & Experience

Your values align to ours - Integrity + Respect, Community + Collaboration and Creativity + Innovation.

Willingness to travel between multiple sites including Wodonga, Barnawartha, and Shepparton.

Significant management and leadership experience.

An academic or trade qualification in a relevant vocational area or relevant experience.

A teaching qualification accredited at Australian Qualification Framework Level 6 (Associate Degree of Vocational Education and Training or equivalent) or relevant experience.
