The Opportunity

Join our team at the University of the Sunshine Coast as a Senior Business Analyst, where you’ll collaborate across UniSC to deliver high-quality system and process solutions that support our strategic goals and enhance the student experience. You’ll lead system changes, working closely with colleagues to identify opportunities for efficiency, analyse business needs, prioritise work requests, and manage workloads. As a mentor within the Student Systems team, you’ll guide development and foster continuous improvement through updates, reports, and thoughtful recommendations. You will

  • drive meaningful change by analysing complex processes, systems, and structures to uncover opportunities for smarter, more efficient ways of working;
  • shape impactful projects by developing clear business cases, functional specifications, and user-focused test plans that set the stage for success; and
  • connect the dots across key digital projects, ensuring seamless integration that enhances efficiency and delivers real value across UniSC.

You will possess:

  • Extensive experience in analysing complex information and identifying opportunities for smarter, more efficient systems, ideally with knowledge of student information, research management, or enterprise systems.
  • A strong understanding of digital system development, integration, and implementation, with experience delivering solutions that enhance the way people work, preferably within higher education.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track by building strong, collaborative relationships across and beyond the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging conversations and align diverse stakeholder needs.
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment, navigating challenges with a positive approach, and mentoring others to achieve shared goals.
  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Student, Oracle Campus Solutions, or related systems such as Curriculum Management, Timetabling, CRM, and Reporting.
