About the role

La Famiglia Restaurant is seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team as a chef de partie. This is a full-time position based in our restaurant located in Epping, VIC 3076. As a chef de partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, contributing to the delivery of delicious, high-quality dishes to our customers.

We are located in Epping Plaza and we trade 7 days a week from 11:00am to 9:30pm.

We are looking for applicants with:

Must have certificate IV and Diploma in commercial cookery

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef.

Must be able to work on weekends and rotating roster.

Must be a strong team player and able to work in busy environment.

Can do attitude and cooperative behaviour

Passionate about providing high quality of food service.

Duties will include:

Lunch & Dinner Service

Pan/Grill/Larder work

Food preparation

Cooking to order

Assisting the head chef with ordering

Training junior staff

Complying with all food health and safety requirements

Cleaning duties
