We are seeking an experienced Full-time, Permanent Panel Beater in the Automotive Industry to join us in our modern workshop in Toowoomba for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to join our state of the art automotive refinishing business.

Qualifications Required:

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology

• Ideally hold a Certificate in Panel Beating or a similar qualification, such as follows:

As obtained from a Registered Training Provider in Australia.

• Ability to Drive both Manual and Automatic Vehicles required.

• Hold a Current Drivers Licence,

Experience Required:

• 5 Years minimum experience within the Automotive Industry
• 2 Years minimum of on-the-job experience in this areas
• Prior applicable experience in Panel Beating of Vehicles
• Completion of an Apprenticeship in the Automotive Industry

• removing damaged panels and parts, and removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
• removing dents by hammering panels
• straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
• filling depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces
• cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
• fitting repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refitting body hardware such as door locks and trims
