JOHNEX Explosives are a 100% Australian owned manufacturer and distributor of innovative explosives. Our Belmont based head office is currently seeking a dynamic person with an eye for detail to complement our team.

The primary function is to support the commercial team with various accounts and procurement tasks.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced all-rounder in roles such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and/or purchasing who enjoys a wide variety of tasks.

This is a fixed term arrangement to cover a period of leave and expected to commence immediately and conclude 31 October 2025.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accounts payable – end to end function

Customer sales order entry

Entering purchase orders

Data entry related to ordering and receipting of stock

Data entry for monthly stocktakes

Administration of company credit card coding

Any other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years experience in a similar role with sound understanding of accounting processes

Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

Demonstrated experience in the use of Accounting Software (Greentree familiarity an advantage but not essential)

Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, problem solve and meet deadlines

Previous industry experience is an advantage but not essential

Police clearance (less than 6 months old)

Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
