PA / Audio Technician Opportunity at CNG Systems

CNG Systems, a leading national provider of life-critical Communications Solutions, is expanding. We have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane and are seeking a qualified Technician to join our Banyo team.

CNG are seeking a range of competencies, from basic to advanced across the various positions, and therefore encourage all candidates with a keen interest to apply, as training will be provided

Role Responsibilities:

• Installation of Public Address hardware, cabling and cable management
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• System configuration
• Testing and commissioning
• Responding to support requests and providing ongoing maintenance
• Ensuring all work aligns with relevant Australian standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical background in Audio Systems, Public Address, and IP Networking, with a focus on network configuration and management
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience with high-value projects
• Self-starter with high motivation, able to work independently and take initiative
• Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented
• Passion for technology
• Valid driver’s licence
• Current White Card (preferred, but not essential)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Trustworthy and responsible with multitasking abilities

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Visio/MS Office
• Knowledge of QSYS, Bosch Praesideo, Bosch Praesensa and Dante
• Experience in critical infrastructure and construction project environments
