Service Technician – Automatic Door Systems (North & South QLD)

With rapid expansion through acquisitions and major project wins, we're on the lookout for TWO experienced Service Technicians to manage Northern & Southern QLD regions.

Your Role:

• Hands-on expertise in preventative maintenance, servicing breakdowns, and installation/commissioning of automated door systems.
• Work with commercial & industrial clientele across QLD, providing top-tier service and technical solutions.
• Leverage industry-leading products with a 24-48hr turnaround time thanks to our local manufacturing capabilities.

Who Stands Out?
✔ Experience in Automatic/Technical Door Systems – you’ve worked with them, you know them inside and out. ✔ Proven success as a Service Technician in the field of automatic doors, gates, or related access control systems.
✔ Strong knowledge of Australian standards & compliance for automatic doors.
✔ Commercial & Industrial expertise – confident liaising with engineers, facility managers & end-users.
✔ Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in diagnostics, fault-finding & system commissioning.
✔ Outstanding communication skills – ability to explain technical solutions clearly to clients & stakeholders.
✔ Experience working in the Northern or Southern QLD region is highly regarded.

Technical Desirables:
★ Strong knowledge of AS 5007:2007 (Automatic Door Compliance Standards in Australia)
★ Experience with sensors, controllers, motor drives, and access control integration
★ Ability to troubleshoot DC/AC motors, control boards, and safety systems
★ Understanding of low-voltage electrical work & mechanical system repairs
★ Familiarity with hydraulic and electromechanical operators for automatic doors
★ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
