Wholesale Food Group is a leading food manufacturer in Australia, specializing in gourmet Mediterranean-inspired foods and custom private label food products for food brand owners, retailers, and distribution companies. Since 1996, they have served a diverse range of local and national B2B customers across various industries and international clients. Their Gold Coast, Queensland location has been a hub for high-quality food manufacturing services and gourmet products.

We are currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team. Monday to Friday - 7am to 3.30pm. No Weekend Work!!

This role will include duties such as:

Raising purchase orders to purchase goods and services to ensure production schedules are achieved on time.

Source and purchase ad-hoc consumable and one off items from time to time and as directed.

Ensuring compliance is met with procurement processes and policies.

Assisting with the preparation of tenders and negotiation of contracts for the supply of goods.

Continual supplier analysis to ensure efficiencies and cost reductions, ensuring they meet approved supplier requirements and onboarding of new suppliers as required.

Coordinating delivery of goods and to maintain inventory control activity with warehouse staff. This may include assisting with good receipt activities and functions in CIN 7 inventory system.

Maintain supplier pricing files within CIN7 to ensure purchase price and therefore Cost of Goods accuracy.

Prepare and forecast annual material prices to enable future budget preparations.

Assist with warehouse stock counting requirements as necessary.

Responding to contractual matters and carrying out contract reviews.

Maintaining registers for contracts.

Negotiate with transport operators to ensure the best price options for the delivery of goods ex Wholesale Food Group to customers premises.

Negotiation of import freight requirements.

Preparing documents, reports and other duties as directed.

What we are looking for:

5 years experience as a Procurement Coordinator or in a similar role within a procurement or supply chain environment.

Proficiency in the use of CIN7 Inventory system to manage stock levels, track orders, and generate inventory reports or other inventory system experience is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends is a plus.
