About the role

Supabarn Express Florey is seeking a dedicated Dairy Freezer / Duty Manager to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This full-time role is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising sales. As a key member of our retail management team, you will also assist in overseeing the daily operations of the store.

What you'll be doing

Manage the dairy and freezer sections, including ordering, stock control, and merchandising

Assist in the overall management of the store, including supervising staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Collaborate with the store management team to implement strategies for improving sales, customer service, and operational efficiency

Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation standards

Identify and address any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner

Contribute to the store's success by actively promoting and selling products

Ensure the store's compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in the grocery or convenience store industry

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience

Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and merchandising

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the retail industry
