About the role

We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team at Radiant Joinery, a reputable provider of custom joinery solutions in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. As a Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-quality cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects. This is a full-time position based at our office and workshop in Bibra Lake.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting client briefs and creating detailed technical drawings using Vectorworks CAD software

Creating CNC machine codes with Mozaik software

Collaborating with our production team to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of design solutions

Providing technical support and advice to clients throughout the design and implementation process

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate the procurement of materials and components

Ensuring all work adheres to relevant building codes, safety standards and quality control measures

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices in cabinetry design

What we're looking for

Qualified cabinetmaker with drafting experience

Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, hardware and materials

Proficient in the use of CAD software, experience with Verctorworks is beneficial but not required

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret design briefs and create practical, cost-effective solutions

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team

Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and industry best practices
