About the role
An exciting role with a globally recognised employer of choice currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Tax Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.

The responsibilities
Reporting into the Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Deep understanding of tax principles and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Management of the tax filing calendar independently and influences where possible
• Preparation/support for preparation of the Income Tax, FBT, GST & BAS for the Australia & New Zealand entities
• Assist with Payroll tax as required, including review of various Annual Payroll Tax reconciliations.
• Preparation of the reportable benefits for payroll.
• Provide information for preparation of Voluntary disclosure to Australian & NZ Customs
• Assist the Tax Manager with a review of Superannuation guarantee as required.
• Assist the Tax Manager with R&D tax claim return.

The successful applicant will have

The successful candidate will have the following criteria:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong commercial tax background or Big4 trained
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Experience with both direct & indirect tax.
