We are a Civil Infrastructure company that do Form, Reo, Pour combining the expertise and track record to deliver projects spanning in all key sectors of the construction industry which include Roads, Bridges, Rail/Level Crossing Removal (LXRP), Tunnelling/ Metro Tunnel Works, NELP projects (FRP Works).
THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced Supervisor to join our Construction team. This is a full-time permanent position and as part of our Construction team, the role will be assigned to various projects located around Victoria. You will supervise and oversea a crew of construction workers and also manage resourcing, planning and procurement for that assigned project/scope of works. You need to be able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment and stick to programs.
The key areas of responsibility for this role will include (but not limited):
Ensure construction is delivered safely in accordance with the drawings, specifications and quality outlined in the contract documents
Assign workers to specific tasks within the project, arrange plant and materials, and manage resource requirements for the project
Monitoring the progress of the project and daily site activities
Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager
Address the construction site's delays, bad weather, or emergencies in a practical manner
Providing assistance to the project management and HSEQ teams in the development of SWMS and safety on site
Ensure safety documentation is completed correctly and undertaken on a daily basis
ABOUT YOU
You will work collaboratively with the engineering, construction & procurement teams to ensure key elements are incorporated into projects.
10+ years’ experience in a similar role working on supervising Structural projects (FRP, Bridges and abutments)
Temporary works Knowledge
Extensive Formwork System Experience
Technical competency and understanding of Structures and/or Civil/Earthworks
Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to read and interpret plans
Strong mobile plant knowledge and plant operation tickets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
Ability to work independently whilst proactively engaging with others
Working proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite
