Opportunity for a Senior Supervisor / General Foreman to join a Tier 2 builder working on new build construction projects valued $200M+

Operating across residential, commercial, education, health & government they lead the way in commercial projects up to the value of $500M. With a secure pipeline of upcoming work they are looking to appoint a Senior Supervisor / General Foreman for a commercial new build project.

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with one of Australia's most forward thinking construction companies and work with true industry professionals;

Roles & responsibilities:

• Managing the subcontractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities
• Monitor subcontractor performance daily in regards to safety, quality and programme and report deficiencies to the Site Manager
• Assisting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed
• Managing cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget

Desired experience:

• Trade background
• Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
• Proven experience as a finishes, structure or general foreman working on new build commercial construction projects in Sydney valued $100M+
• Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
