Assistant Branch Manager | Kewdale

East Coast Car Rentals are a hugely successful company with 11 busy Airport locations and 4 city locations. We are one of the most successful independent car rental retailers in Australia!

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Branch Manager to join our busy & growing branch in Perth, where your priority is to provide exceptional customer service and support your team and manager.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Oversee the flow of customers including smooth shuttle operations, readiness, and compliance of vehicles, and ensuring efficient operation of the branch

Have a strong sales background and ability to mentor others in sales related training

Manage all staff on site in the Branch Manager's absence including rostering and reporting, problem solving where staff have not reported for work

Monitor and look for improvements on staff sales & customer service levels presented to customers by all branch staff

Address customer issues/complaints as required and where Branch Manager is unavailable, or has assigned this task to you

Monitor and ensure a high level of presentation and compliance of staff apparel, office and shuttlebus cleanliness, and rental car readiness at all times

The role requires the following skills/attributes:

Previous retail sales management experience, with strong customer service skills and commercial acumen

Exceptional people management skills

Good strategic and time-management skills

Ability to problem solve

Impeccable personal presentation and grooming

Self-motivated with a passion for the car rental industry

Full driver's licence
