About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Meelup Farmhouse as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in overseeing the busy day-to-day operations of our iconic restaurant located in the picturesque town of Dunsborough, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service

Oversee dining room operations, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently

Assist with staff scheduling, training and development

Monitor and maintain high standards of food and beverage service

Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Help implement and enforce all health, safety and security policies

Support the Restaurant Manager in driving continuous improvement and business growth

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar assistant manager or supervisory role in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality setting

Strong leadership, motivational and team-building skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

Proficient in managing staff schedules, budgets and inventory

Thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing and other relevant regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a memorable dining experience
