Garry's Mechanical Repair is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are running safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to contribute to the growth and success of our well-established automotive repair shop.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and troubleshooting various vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical components

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid flushes

Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components to restore vehicles to optimal condition

Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed records of completed jobs

Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns

Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a similar repair shop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and resolve vehicle issues

Proficiency in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic software

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide high-quality customer service

A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
