About the role

West Perth Tyres (Bridgestone Select) is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team in West Perth, Western Australia. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our customers. What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and wheel alignments
• Conducting thorough inspections and providing customers with detailed recommendations for necessary repairs
• Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and following repair manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence and own tools
