Production Team Lead, North Geelong - Industry Leader!

Your new role

In your new role as a Production Team Lead, you will work within the Operations department and will report directly to the Production Manager.

• Supervising production: Oversee production process, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes rostering of staff, delegating of tasks and executing the production plan in co-ordination with the Production Manager and Planning Co-Ordinator.
• Quality control: Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and ensure excellent communication with the Quality department
• Continuous Improvement: Track productivity metrics and ensure daily reporting, providing feedback and coaching to improve efficiency
• Training: Conduct on-the-job training for team members to ensure everyone is skilled and knowledgeable about the production process
• Maintenance: Engage with Maintenance department on breakdown management, plant access, plant reliability and quality improvements

What you'll need to succeed

For your application to be considered, the following are required:

• At least 2+ years' experience in a Production Team Lead position with excellent people management skills
• High level of competence in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with SAP and SCADA systems desirable
• Experience in manufacturing (food, pharmacy or other FMCG)
