Finance Analyst - Project Cost & Revenue Tracking

• NSW State Government
• 4 Months Contract with a potential extension
• $670.00 daily + super
• North Sydney + WFH (4xdays)

Key Accountabilities

• Preparing financial data inputs for budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in capex and opex
• Conduct research for financial analysis and reconciliations.
• Identify and promote improvements in financial management and business processes.
• Run reports
• Any other ad hoc as requested

Essential requirements

• CA/ CPA or working towards an accounting/ finance qualification
• Strong understanding of WBS and project-based financial processes.
• Experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, and cost allocation.
• Ability to explain financial performance to both finance and non-finance teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
